Policies
How registration, changes, and studio time work at every Vivi Magoo retreat. Each event adds its own deadlines.
Registration
A seat is held for you only after payment is complete. Seats are limited and are sold in the order payments are received.
Class fees are paid online. Kit fees are listed separately on each class page and are paid as that page describes.
Cancellations, class changes, and credit
Each event sets its own class change and cancellation deadlines. The event's FAQ and policies page lists them before registration opens.
Before the class change deadline you may switch into another class with open seats. Before the cancellation deadline you may cancel for event credit or a refund as the event policy allows. For THE DESERT 2027, no cancellations and no refunds are honored within six weeks of the start of the event.
Waitlists
Waitlists are first come, first served. When a seat opens it is offered to the next person on the list, who has a set time to claim it before it moves on.
Classroom Safety
Your safety is important to us! For classes involving torches, saws, presses, chemicals, or other studio equipment, students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate eye protection, keep long hair tied back, and preferably wear clothing made from non-flammable natural fibers, such as cotton. Please follow your instructor's safety guidance throughout the workshop so everyone can enjoy a comfortable, safe, and creative learning experience.
Photography
We photograph classes and student work for the Vivi Magoo website and newsletter. Tell your instructor, Barb, or Erin if you would rather not appear in photographs.
